The counties of Devon and Cornwall have something to suit everyone's tastes, for families and couples alike. Firstly there are the two contrasting coasts - with the North Devon & Cornwall coasts slightly more rugged and a favourite of artists and surfers alike. While the South Coast boasts some of the best "bucket and spade" beaches for traditional family holidays. There are also numerous quaint fishing villages, notorious for their smuggling past, were you can wander the often narrow streets to admire local artists work, or sample some of the "catch of the day" or locally brewed ales.

Plus there are a variety of family attractions such as the Eden Project, Land's End, the Aquarium's of Plymouth and Newquay, the Milky Way and The Big Sheep to name but a few.

For the more energetic there are several designated cycle routes including The Camel and Tarka Trail, plus you can access the South West Coast Path which runs all the way from Minehead on the North Coast around to Poole on the South Coast.

For the less energetic there are theatres, museums, and galleries a plenty to soak up the West Country culture - or why not just sit and admire the glorious scenery while considering the age old debate of whether you prefer a Cornish or Devon cream tea?
