There are well over 20 beaches within a short drive of the River Valley Country Park and many more coves and smaller beaches for you to explore. Beaches are not the only attraction when visiting Cornwall, there is also a great selection of high quality restaurants, pubs and hotels offering distinctive and quality food at prices that you can afford. The speciality here is seafood and locally grown produce with organic produce being very high on many menus. The local pubs always offer a warm welcome, no matter what time of the year.
If you like sports then the water sports on offer are amazing with surfing being very popular in the area and you will find a great wave virtually all year round as many beaches face in different directions and pick up swells throughout.
