Insurance
All owners must have an adequate insurance policy to insure against all the usual risks including fire, flood, storm and third party liability. This can be arranged through our head office at Surf Bay Leisure as we have access to policies specifically designed for owners of holiday caravans or lodges. Insurance is renewable on the 1st February each year.
The cover is supplied on a group basis by Compass Insurance and includes damage or loss to both the structure and contents of your holiday accommodation. It is important that you read the Summary of Cover for further details as there are limitations.
There is no penalty for making a claim as our annual premiums are negotiated on a group basis, not on individual claims. The only payment necessary is an excess payment of £50.00
If you choose to arrange your own insurance cover, this must be on a ‘new for old’ basis and a copy of the insurance certificate (policy document) must be provided.
